China’s CATL, the largest manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric cars, has unveiled an innovative new battery made from lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cells. The battery presented is the Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery.
The Battery used has a high charging power of 4C. The lithium-iron-phosphate technology used in the Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery is safer, more durable, more cost-effective and more environmentally friendly than previously used lithium-ion batteries, which is why it is being touted by many as the future of the electric car battery industry.
