The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency announced today that there has been a failure of the PansaUTM system. The agency does not state how serious the problems with the system are and when they can be expected to be resolved.
“We would like to kindly inform you that due to the possible occurrence of malfunctioning of the mobile application, a revised procedure for reporting and coordinating UAV flights is being introduced for pilots who cannot check the airspace depiction and report the flight using it. The described procedures are in force until further notice. For up-to-date information, please follow this page and profile PansaUTM – integrating drones while keeping the sky safe.” – reads the message published on www.pansa.pl.
Until the outage is resolved, PANSA recommends the use of the DroneMap system, available at dronemap.pansa.pl, and special procedures for reporting operations in controlled spaces. Detailed guidelines are described at www.pansa.pl/awaria-systemu-pansautm.
