Transgourment Polska, the owner of the Selgros shop chain, has announced that it will invest in electromobility, with plans to build electric vehicle charging stations under each store. In order to implement the plan, the company has entered into cooperation with ChargeEuropa, a Polish company specialising in building chargers for electric cars.

“We decided to cooperate with ChargeEuropa on our EV charging infrastructure because the advertising business model gave us the confidence that they could grow with us, even in the early stages of EV adoption in Poland,” – stated Bartłosz Jankowiak, director of the Technical Department of Transgourmet Polska.

Ultimately, electric chargers are to be found under each of the 19 shops in the Selgros chain. The chargers are planned to be available in prominent places in the car park, with easy access, so as to make it as easy as possible for the shop’s customers to use the infrastructure.
