ABZ Innovation has developed a system designed to spread Trichogramma – a parasitic insect used in agriculture to eliminate insects harmful to crops. Until now, the insects were placed in the crops manually, which was very time-consuming and required a lot of work.
The ABZ Innovation L10 PRO and M12 drones were used as the basis for creating the system. Both variants are able to hold 8l of Trichogramma, which translates into 800-1200 pellets. The use of drones for insect application allows to achieve a yield of 36 hectares per hour.
