Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and the ‘Micromacro Institute’ Foundation have presented a scenario for the development of the unmanned aerial vehicle market until 2040. The prepared ‘Foresight’ is a summary of a series of events held at the Institute under the name ‘Droniada Future Forum by Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation’ in 2024. The results of the work are the result of many hours of analysis by experts in unmanned aerial vehicles and representatives of various industries using drones in their undertakings.
The Foresight prepared is intended to provide a pictorial representation of what the development of the unmanned aircraft market in Poland may look like. The scenario presented one of the alternative directions for the development of the drone market in our country.
‘Foresight allows us to determine at what stage of development the Polish drone market is, including what challenges it is facing. We wanted to outline a direction that would ensure its rapid development. – Poland has the opportunity to develop a thriving UAV sector and has the potential to build a competitive advantage, both on the EU and global markets,’ said Łukasiewicz – Aviation Institute director, Dr. Paweł Stężycki.
