Until recently, autonomous drones, i.e. drones that do not have to be operated by a pilot at all times, were reserved exclusively for military purposes. However, the use of autonomous unmanned aircraft for civilian services is gradually being phased out. Autonomous drones have recently been successfully flying between Warsaw and Pułtusk and Sochaczew. The use of this technology seems to be of great value, among other things, for the security of private property. The need for a security guard could soon be replaced by technology. Drones with an on-board motion detection camera are able to effectively monitor key business locations and provide immediate alerts when unidentified objects are detected.
The benefits of autonomous drones are mentioned by the founder of Dronehub, a European tycoon for the automatic monitoring and recording of data collected by unmanned aircraft. “Autonomous drones are already part of everyday life, and our company is a good example of this because we enable 24/7 flights, and the best part is that drones can now fly automatically without an operator”, says Dronehuba founder Vadym Melnyk.
