The international conference Amsterdam Drone Week took place on March 29-31, where organisations from all over the world presented the technological advances achieved and expected in the development of the deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Polish stand was prepared by the Upper Silesian-Zagłębiowska Metropolia together with the partners CEDD, the Office of Civil Aviation, the Polish Air Navigation Agency, the Research Network Łukasiewicz and the Port of Gdynia. Among other things, current achievements of the Poles in the field of urban air mobility were presented. The slogan of the GZM was “Metropole GZM. Synergy effects for U-Space.”
Besides participating in the panel discussions UIC2 Panel – Sustainable Urban (Air) Mobility Plan, UIC2 Panel: Safe UAM in the Metropolis Region (Metropolis GZM), UIC2 Annual Workshop and Planning, GZM emphasised its participation as a partner for Horizon 2020: ASSURED-UAM (assured-uam.eu), HARM ONY (harmony) -h2020.eu) and the Urban Air Mobility Initiative Cities Community Urban Air Mobility.
Amsterdam Drone Week is one of the most important events promoting unmanned aerial technology worldwide.
