The ban on the import of drones introduced in February this year is to contribute to this, the areas excluded from the ban are only drones for military or research and development purposes. “Drones can have a significant impact on job creation and economic growth due to their versatility and ease of use, especially in remote areas of India,” Amber Dubey, former secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation, told the BBC.
