Electromobility is definitely one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the new technologies market. Polish companies are also developing in this area. Recently, a factory of chargers for electric cars was opened in Pszczyna. This is the first of three stages of the construction of the Electromobility Center, a project of ZPUE S.A. The project was created as a response to the growing demand for infrastructure to support electric cars.

The newly built factory will produce 1,000 chargers per year, and ultimately the Center will produce 5,000 such stations. The chargers that are built there are manufactured in EV-C technology with a power of 150 kW. The technological novelty is that these chargers are easily scalable and their power can be adjusted to the needs of the consumer. In addition, the devices are characterized by a modern, aesthetic appearance.

Investments in new technologies in the field of electromobility are undoubtedly the direction of changes in the road infrastructure and a response to the current climate and energy security problems. It is a very promising sector of the economy, it is worth watching its development.

The website is operated as part of the programme of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science – Social Responsibility of Science.
