We can expect an update of the national standard scenarios soon. The CAO has recently begun consultations with industry representatives on this issue. The number of scenarios is to remain the same, among other things, the requirements for pilot licenses will change.
The good news is for people who have already filed their NSTS statements, they will not have to submit them a second time, their current statements remain valid until the end of their validity period.
NSTS, i.e. national standard scenarios, are plans containing a risk analysis of tasks performed by drone operators with a special category, they are to facilitate the formalities related to obtaining a permit to fly, thanks to which pilots do not have to calculate the flight risk and other necessary data, only if they fit in the data standards use such a ready-made scenario.
