At the beginning of June, a special NATO conference was held in the Republic of Moldova to discuss modern technological solutions. One of the speakers was a Polish scientist who worked for JSW Innovations S.A. – Dr. Ing. Bartosz Brzozowski. During the lecture, he presented the special air system AUTOINVENT, which offers the possibility to fully automate volume measurements and to build three-dimensional terrain models.
However, the scientist’s entire presentation had a special character, as Dr. Ing. Bartosz Brzozowski used an unmanned aircraft to accomplish the mission live. The practical dimension of science certainly spiced up the event. A well-equipped drone carried out measurements and landed on a prepared station. The show took place live, in real time, in front of an assembled audience.
The possibilities of AUTOINVENT aroused great interest among the participants of the NATO conference. The implementation of the tasks of fully automating data transmission and cataloguing the data collected by the drone is certainly an important technological innovation.
