The Krakow-based company REAKTO has signed a letter of intent with the authorities of Skawina to conduct a pilot of rapid response drones. Drones in the rapid response system perform a patrol function, they are able to provide information about a given event very quickly, it is especially useful in the case of hard-to-reach places. In Skawina, the target place for the work of drones is the industrial zone, the start of the system is planned for the first half of 2023.

– The use of a fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles by local government is no longer science fiction, but a real possibility that will benefit all residents in many aspects of life. The undoubted advantage of the tested solution is that the drone will not be slowed down by traffic jam, flooded road, fallen trees or fire. He is able to quickly move from place to place and be the “eyes” of services that care about the safety of residents – believes the mayor of Skawina Norbert Rzepisko.
