The Turkish manufacturer of unmanned aircraft Bayraktar announced that it would produce combat drones on Ukrainian territory. A week ago, the Ukrainian Government approved the Ukrainian-Turkish agreement on this subject, which is currently being ratified by the Supreme Council of Ukraine. The Turkish producer has already taken steps to build production facilities and the company’s subsidiary already owns the property on which the investment is to take place. According to reports, the complete documentation of the factory under construction has also been completed.

According to the Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey, Vasyl Bodnar, the construction of installations in these areas is very practical beyond political objectives, since most of the components needed to build drones are of Ukrainian origin. “We’re talking about engines and other spare parts”, he says.
