Among the selected projects of student circles, there was a project by the AGH Drone Engineering research circle. The students&#8217; project concerns the development of a prototype of an ultralight drone for transporting blood and medical products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drone weighs less than 2 kg, has a range of 10 km and is able to fly for about 20 minutes without stopping. According to the project, it is expected to transport at least one unit of blood, or about 500 ml. In addition, the container along with the blood is to contain cooling cartridges, which will help to maintain the right temperature during transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students&#8217; project will provide support primarily for cities with heavy traffic.
