Drone Strategy 2.0 is the European Commission’s newly adopted strategy for the development of the European drone market. The document presented contains a plan to popularise and spread the use of drones. According to the Commission, the main task required to implement the strategy is to increase public acceptance of drones, this is to be done by clarifying concerns about BSP use, such as noise, invasion of privacy or safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strategy is not a binding legal act, but provides guidance to the Commission and its subordinate institutions. The plan includes a number of demands to be implemented by 2030. In the document, the Commission has identified 19 flagship actions to achieve its ambitious plans for drone deployment in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
